There are 3 methods to apply to the Western Pennsylvania Operating Engineers Joint Apprenticeship & Training Program, but whichever method you choose, remember that the application process is only open from October 30, 2023 through December 8, 2023. You must be 18 years or older by June 1st, 2024 in order to apply.

Method 1. Apply online. There will be nothing to mail at this time. A $50.00 application fee will be collected at the time you electronically submit the application. Online application starts October 30th.

Method 2. Print an application and mail the completed forms along with a $50.00 money order. (Applications along with the fee must be postmarked by December 15, 2023.)

Method 3. Pick-up an application in person and mail the completed forms along with a $50.00 money order. Applications are available for pick up between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Note: Applications along with the fee must be postmarked by December 15, 2023.
